Microgreens Awareness & Personal Cultivation
Microgreens are one of the easiest, healthiest, and most exciting ways to connect young people with food, nature, and sustainability. Our awareness and cultivation program introduces microgreens to schools, universities, and youth groups in a hands-on, practical way. Participants not only learn about the nutritional value of microgreens but also get the chance to plant, care for, and harvest them—gaining new habits they can apply at home or in their communities.
Youth Worker Training & Workshops
Equip youth workers, educators, and community leaders with practical tools to teach urban farming, microgreens, and green entrepreneurship. Our trainings blend hands-on cultivation with program design, digital skills, and inclusion practices—so participants leave ready to run activities in their own communities.
Entrepreneurship & Co-ops
Turn microgreens and urban farming into real opportunities. This program helps youth and community members design small, resilient food businesses—solo, with partners, or as cooperatives. We focus on practical steps: validate demand, price correctly, comply with rules, and launch.
Volunteer & Community Events
At EVEC Athens, we believe that real change starts in the community. Our volunteer and community events bring together people of all ages to learn, grow, and take action—whether through planting microgreens, cleaning public spaces, or supporting awareness campaigns. Each event is designed to be educational, social, and impactful, giving participants the chance to contribute to a healthier and more sustainable future.
Cancer Support & Donations
We work with families, hospitals, and community partners in Athens to deliver fresh broccoli microgreens to people undergoing treatment or recovery. Our role is simple: grow safely, deliver reliably, and support with kindness. Donations cover the cost of seeds, growing media, trays, hygiene supplies, and delivery—nothing else.
