We help young people and families discover how easy it is to grow fresh, nutritious food at home. Microgreens are young edible plants packed with vitamins, minerals and flavor. They require very little space, water and time—perfect for apartments, classrooms and community spaces.
Why Microgreens?
- Health: Microgreens are rich in vitamins, antioxidants and phytonutrients that support a balanced diet.
- Environment: They grow in trays using very little water and no pesticides, reducing food miles and waste.
- Empowerment: Anyone can grow them on a windowsill. In one to two weeks you harvest real food you produced yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long do microgreens take to grow?
Most varieties are ready to harvest in 7–14 days.
Do I need special equipment?
No. You can start with food-safe trays/containers, a growing medium, seeds and clean water. A bright window is often enough; small LED grow lights help in darker rooms.
Which seeds are best for beginners?
Broccoli, radish, sunflower and pea shoots are great starter varieties.
Are microgreens safe for kids to grow and eat?
Yes—when grown with clean hands, food-safe containers and fresh water. We cover hygiene and safe handling in every workshop.
