This training builds on our successful youth exchange and supports the long-term goals of EVECโ€™s Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation.

Over five days, you will actively work with youth workers and young people from five European countries to:

  • ๐ŸŒฑ learn how to grow microgreens through real hands-on sessions
  • โœ๏ธ turn practical knowledge into high-quality educational tools
  • ๐Ÿค collaborate internationally to design a KA220 project
  • ๐ŸŽ„ explore Athens during the Christmas season

๐Ÿ”ง 1. Grow Microgreens from A to Z

You will:

  • ๐Ÿ”ฉ assemble a growing rack
  • ๐Ÿ’ก install LED lights & ventilators
  • ๐ŸŒฟ prepare trays and compare soils
  • ๐ŸŒพ seed various microgreens
  • โœ‚๏ธ harvest microgreens grown at EVEC
  • ๐Ÿ“ฆ wash, pack, and label them

Youโ€™ll document every step with photos and notes, forming the content for the Digital Grow Guide.


๐Ÿ“˜ 2. Create a Digital Guide for Growing Microgreens at Home

Together with the group, youโ€™ll create a complete guide covering:

  • ๐ŸŒฑ equipment needed
  • ๐Ÿ’ง watering and lighting basics
  • ๐Ÿ› how to avoid common problems
  • ๐Ÿฅ— nutritional benefits & simple recipes
  • ๐ŸŒ sustainability tips
  • ๐Ÿงผ food safety

This guide will later be graphically designed and published.

๐ŸŽ’ Toolkit A: Microgreens in Schools & Universities

For short workshops during school visits.
Includes:

For free workshops in EVECโ€™s office.
Includes:

  • ๐Ÿท๏ธ branding & packaging ideas
  • ๐Ÿ“ฑ digital marketing basics
  • ๐Ÿค cooperative & group models

Both toolkits will be easy to use, practical, and ready for immediate implementation.


๐Ÿ“˜ 4. Design a KA220 Erasmus+ Project

On the final day, you will collaborate internationally to design a KA220 project on:

  • ๐ŸŒฟ green skills
  • ๐ŸŒฑ microgreens & urban farming
  • ๐Ÿ’ก youth entrepreneurship
  • ๐Ÿ‘ฅ inclusion
  • ๐Ÿ”— digital education

You will outline objectives, activities, partner roles, and the structure of the project that EVEC will submit in Greece.

Participants arrive in Athens and settle into the accommodation. In the evening, we meet for an informal orientation walk around the neighbourhood:

A fully hands-on day.
