With the project “Green Pathways: Empowering NEET Youth for a Sustainable Future (GENYOUS)”, you will travel to Romania, meet young people from across Europe, and gain the skills to make a real difference in your community.
📅 Project dates: 24–29 October 2025 | Location: Focșani, Romania
🚀 About the Project
This Erasmus+ initiative is designed to empower young people with the knowledge and tools to take part in the green economy. Participants will:
- Discover green entrepreneurship, recycling, upcycling, and climate action.
- Explore social economy structures linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Develop entrepreneurial, digital, and creative skills through non-formal education.
- Join an international network of young people who want to create change.
🌎 Who Can Join This Erasmus+ Opportunity?
We are looking for 4 participants from Greece (18+ years old) who are:
✔ Interested in sustainability, entrepreneurship, and green innovation
✔ Motivated to join workshops, team activities, and cultural exchange
✔ Open to intercultural learning and collaboration
✔ Able to communicate in basic English
No previous Erasmus+ experience is required — first-time participants are especially encouraged to apply!

🌿 Green workshops – waste separation, permaculture, climate action games
🏭 Eco-friendly industry visit – learn how businesses apply sustainable production methods
🎭 Cultural nights – share Greek traditions and discover new cultures

🚗 Travel Adventure for Greek Participants
This Erasmus+ journey starts the moment we leave Athens!
- Departure from Athens: 22 October 2025
- Return to Athens: 31 October 2025
- We will travel together by car, turning the road trip into part of the project.
- On the way to Romania, we will spend one night in Sofia, Bulgaria, with sightseeing included 🏙.
- On the way back, the group will decide whether to stay in Sofia, Bansko, or another location for one more cultural stop.
💶 The trip by car is fully covered by the sending organization.
Participants only need to cover the cost of the overnight stays in Sofia/Bansko (approx. 20–50€ total per person for both ways).
🏡 Accommodation in Romania
During the Erasmus+ project in Focșani, participants will be accommodated at Romeo Hotel, Strada Mărășești 58.
Accommodation, meals, and all project activities are 100% funded by Erasmus+.
