For adult-education organisations · Erasmus+ · KA1 host & KA2 partner
Bring your adult learners to Athens — learning they’ll never forget.
From seniors’ groups to lifelong-learning classes, we host the whole experience: hands-on workshops in healthy living and sustainability, wrapped in the Athens your learners came to see. Or invite us as your committed Erasmus+ Adult Education partner in a KA2 cooperation project.
The reason your learners will say yes
Athens — the city your learners will love.
Older adults travel for meaning and for wonder — and Athens gives both. Your group learns by day and walks through 2,500 years of history by evening.
There is no better classroom-with-a-view in Europe. Every hosted stay has real cultural visits built in — chosen with you and paced for your group, so nobody is rushed and nobody is left out.

What a workshop looks like
Hands-on workshops, built for adults.
Our method turns science into something anyone can do, at any age — no lectures, no jargon, just real making and sharing.
In our workshops, adults grow microgreens from seed to plate, cook and taste what they grow, and pick up green everyday habits and a little digital confidence along the way.
Microgreens is our proven, hands-on methodology — gentle, social and easy to join at any pace. We adapt it for adult and senior groups: something you can see, touch and eat, with wellbeing, nutrition and community designed in.

We’ve used this approach with older adults. In a 2026 community project in Spain, our team led a hands-on session with a local seniors’ group — the same warm, practical approach we’d bring to your learners in Athens.
The toolkit behind the workshops
Microgreens is our proven flagship for healthy living and sustainability — and we keep growing the toolkit.
Bring your group to Athens — we host your KA1 Adult mobility
You bring the people. We handle everything on the ground.
Whether you’re sending adult educators to grow their practice, or a group of adult learners for a structured learning experience, we host the whole thing — learning, logistics and culture, as one offer.
Two ways to come
For adult educators
Take home our methodology
Spend time with our trainers and take home our microgreens-based non-formal methodology: a complete, transferable way to engage adult learners in healthy living, sustainability and community.
For adult-learner groups
A structured learning experience
A structured programme — growing food, healthy eating, green habits, basic digital confidence and community — with clear learning outcomes for your adult learners. The cultural visits complement the learning; they don’t replace it.
Your complete package
Everything your group needs on the ground — organised by us, as one single offer.
How the funding works: EVEC is your host in Athens and your Erasmus+ Adult Education partner for the mobility. Your organisation holds the Erasmus+ KA1 Adult Education grant (an accredited KA121-ADU, or a short-term KA122-ADU project) and chooses us as the receiving partner. We don’t need our own accreditation to host you, and we’ll help you shape a strong mobility.
How hosting works, step by step
What working with an Erasmus+ Adult Education partner in Athens actually looks like — from your first email to your learners’ Europass records.
Tell us your group and your dates
Write to us with who is coming — adult educators, adult learners, or a mix — and the dates you are working towards. We answer every enquiry within a maximum of two working days.
We talk about the learning first
We ask what your organisation wants people to come home able to do, and whether hands-on work with growing food, healthy eating, green habits and basic digital confidence serves it. The cultural visits complement that learning; they don’t replace it.
You receive one hosting offer
Airport transfers, local transport, accommodation, meals, the full hands-on activity programme, community-project visits and the cultural visits — organised by us and put to you as one single offer.
You name EVEC as the receiving partner
Your organisation holds the Erasmus+ KA1 Adult Education grant — an accredited KA121-ADU, or a short-term KA122-ADU project — and chooses us as the receiving partner. The grant and the ownership stay with you; we are the host on the ground.
We build the days around your dates
We do not set mobility durations. The Erasmus+ rules for your Key Action and your own grant agreement do that. Tell us the dates your agreement allows and we design the programme to fit them.
Your group arrives — and leaves with the records
You bring the people; we handle everything on the ground. Learning-outcome records travel home with the group, ready for your Europass Mobility documents.
An Erasmus+ Adult Education partner should answer fast: two working days is our maximum, not our target. If a submission deadline is closing in on you, say so in the first line.
Partner with us in your KA2
The Erasmus+ Adult Education partner you wish every project had.
Too many partnerships stall because a partner doesn’t pull their weight. We’re the opposite.
EVEC delivers its work packages on time, brings ready-made non-formal methodology, and makes your adult-education project stronger — whatever your theme.
What we bring to your partnership
Five reasons to choose EVEC as your Erasmus+ Adult Education partner.
Reliable delivery
We do our tasks, on time, to standard — we’ve already co-delivered a KA210 small-scale partnership (the youth-strand “Himmeli Creation”, with Poland), and the same reliability carries across fields.
A proven non-formal methodology
Turning complex science into hands-on learning adults engage with.
Ready-made content
Microgreens for healthy living and sustainability, expanding into mycelium, drones, solar.
Erasmus+ experience
We know the priorities, the process, and the paperwork.
Strong dissemination
Open resources at microgreens.org.gr, plus our social channels.
Your theme, or ours
We adapt our methodology to any adult-education theme. A few that fit well:
Proof — a small-scale partnership we delivered
“Reducing Pollution & Empowering Youth through Himmeli Creation” — a youth-strand KA210 small-scale partnership with Poland, where EVEC delivered its own work packages in full, as any committed partner does. The same reliability is exactly what we’d bring as your Erasmus+ Adult Education partner in a KA2.
Help writing your project
Prefer to lead it yourself? We’ll help you make it strong.
We’ll help you structure priorities, work packages and outputs, and review your drafts — while you stay the author and owner.
Ethical by design: we coach, structure and review — we don’t ghost-write complete projects as a turnkey product. The project stays genuinely yours.
Who we are not the right Erasmus+ Adult Education partner for
Choosing a partner also means ruling some out. Saying this plainly now saves everyone a wasted application round.
Consortia that need an accredited adult-education applicant. Our Erasmus+ accreditation is in the Youth field, not adult education. If your plan depends on a partner that is itself accredited for adult education, we are not your Erasmus+ Adult Education partner on paper — though we can still be your host in Athens and your eligible KA2 partner, which is a different and perfectly solid role.
Anyone who wants the application written for them. We coach, structure and review, and we will tell you where a draft looks weak. We don’t ghost-write complete projects as a turnkey product. If that is what you are looking for, we are the wrong partner for you.
Individual learners looking for a course to book. Everything on this page is built around an organisation that sends a group. The Erasmus+ KA1 Adult Education grant is held by your organisation, not by the people travelling — so if you are an individual learner, ask the organisation that teaches you to write to us instead.
Projects that only want a name on the form. A partner who is listed and never heard from again adds nothing to your work packages. We take real tasks and deliver them — that is the whole point of choosing an Erasmus+ Adult Education partner rather than a logo.
Trust & credibility
Real, EU-recognised, a safe partner.
We’re an officially recognised organisation — holding an Erasmus+ KA1 Youth accreditation and the ESC Quality Label, with 20+ Erasmus+ & ESC projects and partners across Europe. (Our accreditation is in the Youth field, not adult education — for adult education we act as your eligible KA2 partner and host.) With us, your project and your group are in safe hands.

Questions coordinators ask us
Choosing an Erasmus+ Adult Education partner — the honest answers.
What adult-education coordinators want to know before they commit to an Erasmus+ Adult Education partner, answered the way we would answer them on the phone.
What does an Erasmus+ Adult Education partner actually do in a KA1 mobility?
Two different jobs, worth keeping apart. Your organisation holds the grant and brings the people. The receiving partner — that is us — handles everything on the ground: the full hands-on activity programme, the community-project visits, the cultural visits, and the practical things around them, from the airport transfers to the meals. You keep the grant and the ownership. We take Athens.
Does our Erasmus+ Adult Education partner need its own accreditation to host us?
No. We don’t need our own accreditation to host you — the accredited KA121-ADU, or the short-term KA122-ADU project, sits with your organisation as the sender. Our own Erasmus+ KA1 accreditation is in the Youth field, not adult education, and we keep that in plain sight rather than blur it. For adult education we act as your eligible KA2 partner and your host in Athens. That is what being your Erasmus+ Adult Education partner means in practice, and you should know exactly which hat we are wearing before you write us into a form.
How long can the mobility be?
As long as the Erasmus+ rules for your Key Action allow, and as long as your own grant agreement provides for. We are not inventing rules — Erasmus+ already has them. Tell us the window you are working inside and we build the programme to fit it, rather than nudging you towards a length that happens to suit us. That is the difference between an Erasmus+ Adult Education partner that serves your project and one that serves its own calendar.
How fast do you reply, and where are you?
We answer every enquiry within a maximum of two working days. Our office is at Polifimou 17, Zografou 157 71, Athens, open every working day from 09:00 to 16:00 if you would like to arrange a visit. If you would rather begin in writing, the form at the foot of this page reaches exactly the same people.
What is included in the hosting package?
Airport transfers, local transport, accommodation — hotel, hostel or apartments — meals, the full hands-on activity programme, community-project visits, cultural visits across Athens, and learning-outcome records for your Europass Mobility. One package, any group size, organised by us as one single offer. Bundling it is deliberate: an Erasmus+ Adult Education partner should be taking work off your project, not adding to it.
Our learners are older adults. Will this really work for them?
It is built for exactly that. The workshops are gentle, social and easy to join at any pace: adults grow microgreens from seed to plate, cook and taste what they grow, and pick up green everyday habits and a little digital confidence along the way. The cultural side is paced with the same care — the Acropolis at an easy pace, the step-free galleries of the Acropolis Museum, shade in the Ancient Agora, a gentle day at sea. We choose the visits with you, so nobody is rushed and nobody is left out.
We have done this before: in a 2026 community project in Spain, our team led a hands-on session with a local seniors’ group.
Can you work on a theme that has nothing to do with microgreens?
Yes. Microgreens is our proven flagship, but the transferable thing is the method: turning complex science into hands-on learning adults engage with. That same approach already runs through mycelium, drones and solar, and it adapts to social inclusion, community building, active citizenship and intercultural learning just as readily. Any adult-education theme is welcome — your project leads, and we adapt our methodology to it.
What proof is there that you deliver your work packages?
“Reducing Pollution & Empowering Youth through Himmeli Creation” — a KA210 small-scale partnership with Poland, where EVEC delivered its own work packages in full. It sits in the youth strand rather than adult education, and we would rather point you at a real delivered project in the wrong strand than at an impressive-sounding one in the right strand. Behind it stand 20+ Erasmus+ and ESC projects since 2017, with partners in Greece, North Macedonia, Poland, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, Denmark and Austria. That record, rather than a pitch, is the case for choosing us as your Erasmus+ Adult Education partner.
We want to write the application ourselves. Will you still help?
Gladly — that is the version we prefer. We help you structure priorities, work packages and outputs, and we review your drafts, while you stay the author and the owner. What we will not do is ghost-write a complete project as a turnkey product, because a project written by someone else tends to be delivered by nobody. A good Erasmus+ Adult Education partner makes your application stronger; it does not quietly make it theirs.
Should we host a group, or invite you in as our Erasmus+ Adult Education partner on a KA2?
They answer different needs, and nothing stops you doing both. Hosting moves your own people to Athens for a structured learning experience under your KA1 Adult Education grant. A KA2 cooperation partnership builds something together over a longer arc, with EVEC holding real work packages of its own. If you are genuinely unsure, describe the outcome you want and we will tell you which route carries it better.
We are only at the thinking stage. Is it too early to write?
Early is better. As the next Erasmus+ cycle approaches we share what we have learned applying for and delivering projects, so your organisation can build towards running its own mobility rather than always depending on someone else’s. An Erasmus+ Adult Education partner should be making itself less necessary to you over time, not more. Opening the conversation costs you one email and, at most, two working days of waiting.
