✈️ 1 place. Your plane ticket is bought for you. Six days on digital communication by the sea in Málaga, Spain, 9–17 November 2026. 📱
This November, EVEC Athens is sending one person from Greece 🇬🇷 to BE VISIBLE – Digital Communication for Better Youth Work, an Erasmus+ training course in Spain for the people who keep a youth organisation visible: social media, content, campaigns and dissemination. You go as EVEC Athens’s representative.
The organisers buy your plane ticket. Your accommodation and all your meals are covered too. You don’t pay for the flight and you don’t wait for a refund. 💸

✈️ Your plane ticket is bought for you
This is the first thing people ask, so here it is plainly: you don’t buy a plane ticket. The organisers, TÜGVA, buy the flights for every participant in advance. You don’t pay for the ticket, and you don’t wait for a refund after the course.
You fly into Málaga–Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) on Monday 9 November and home on Tuesday 17 November. From the airport, the organisers transfer you to the venue, and they send the details before the course.
- 👉 Once the ticket is issued, it can’t be changed. Any change you ask for afterwards is at your own cost, so check your dates before you confirm them.
- 👉 Your trip to and from the airport in Greece (metro, bus or train) is refunded in cash, in euros, on the last day of the course. Keep every original ticket and receipt. A taxi counts only if at least three participants share it.
- 👉 Don’t live in Athens? Tell us in the form which airport you’d fly from, and we’ll pass it on to the organisers before they book.
📱 What is this Erasmus+ training course in Spain about?
BE VISIBLE is a six-day Erasmus+ training course for youth workers, organised by TÜGVA (Turkey Youth Foundation) under its Erasmus+ youth accreditation. The trainer is Gabrielius Grašys, Head of Marketing at the Stasys Museum and digital content manager at Eurodiena.lt in Lithuania.
It starts from a problem every small organisation knows: communication depends on one or two people, happens when there’s time, and stops when they’re busy. Posts go out irregularly, activities stay invisible, and it gets hard to reach young people, attract volunteers and show what the work achieved.
BE VISIBLE treats digital communication as a strategy, not as posting: who you’re talking to, what you say, on which channel, how you plan and approve content, how you keep it accessible, safe and ethical, and how you measure whether it worked. You learn it in practical workshops, a content lab, a crisis simulation and a campaign challenge.
By the end, each organisation leaves with its own digital communication strategy (yours will be EVEC Athens’s), and the group writes a common Digital Communication Strategy Guide for other youth organisations.
🗓️ Six training days, one by one
Every training day starts with an energiser and ends with a short reflection. 9 November is the arrival day, 17 November the departure day.
✨ What you’ll bring home
💸 What’s covered
✅ Your flight: bought for you in advance by the organisers, TÜGVA. You pay nothing for it.

✅ Accommodation: shared rooms at Cortijo Amaya, 9–17 November
✅ Three meals a day: breakfast, lunch and dinner, with vegetarian options and vegan where possible 🥗
✅ Your trip to and from the airport in Greece: refunded in cash in euros on the last day, against the original receipts
✅ The full programme, the trainer, the materials and Youthpass
⚠️ Not covered: your travel and health insurance (the organisers ask you to bring the documents, and your European Health Insurance Card too), personal spending, taxis you take alone, and any change to your flight after the ticket is issued. You need a valid ID card or passport.
🏡 Where you’ll stay
Cortijo Amaya is a traditional Andalusian country house in Torrox-Costa, in a quiet area with sea views. The beach is about a 15-minute walk away, and shops and restaurants are within walking distance.
You share a room with other participants. Rooms are arranged by gender and size, and every room has its own bathroom, air conditioning and Wi-Fi, with bed linen and towels provided. For the breaks there are terraces, a pool, a tennis court, ping-pong and a games area.

👀 Is this you?
This Erasmus+ training course in Spain is for the person who keeps an organisation visible. Only one person goes from Greece, and they go as EVEC Athens’s representative, so we’re looking for someone who will bring the strategy back and use it with us. You’re a fit if you:
- are 18 or older and live in Greece;
- are active in youth work as a youth worker, youth leader, project team member or volunteer, with an NGO, a youth group, a school club, a municipality or our own volunteering in Athens;
- already do digital communication: you run or help run social media, create content, edit video, write posts or newsletters, or handle the dissemination of projects;
- are ready to work on EVEC Athens’s communication during the course and after it (see below);
- can work in English for six full days;
- are free for the whole trip, 9–17 November.
🤝 What it means to represent EVEC Athens
The organisers say it clearly: they want people whose work matches the course, not people looking for a trip. Here is what the role means in practice.
- Before you go: we show you EVEC’s channels, audiences and recent results, so the communication audit on Day 1 is about a real organisation.
- During the course: you build EVEC Athens’s digital communication strategy with the trainer and your group, and present it on the last day.
- After you return: you share what you learned with our team and volunteers, test at least one tool from the course on EVEC’s channels, and help share the course results. The organisers ask every organisation to pass them on to at least three others.
Heads up: it’s by the sea, but it isn’t a holiday. Six full training days, every session, on time.
🎒 Pack this
- 💻 A laptop or tablet: you’ll be producing content and writing a strategy.
- 🧥 Layers, a light jacket and a raincoat: November there has cool mornings and evenings and the odd rainy day.
- 🪪 Your ID card or passport, boarding passes and insurance documents, kept in your hand luggage.
- 🧾 Every receipt for your trip to and from the airport in Greece, originals, for the refund on the last day.
- 📲 Two or three pieces of content you’ve made (a post, a video, a campaign) to show and discuss.
- 🇬🇷 Something from home for the cultural night: a small item from Greece, a traditional snack that travels well, or whatever you need for a short presentation.
📝 How to apply
To join this Erasmus+ training course in Spain, apply through the EVEC Athens application form, the same form we use for all our calls. EVEC selects its one participant, and your motivation decides it. Write it in the form’s motivation field: start with the word “Malaga”, then tell us:
- your experience in youth work: what you do, where, with whom and for how long;
- your experience in digital communication: which channels you run or have run, for whom, and one or two links to work you’re proud of;
- one thing you’d change in how EVEC Athens communicates (look at our website and social media first);
- how you’ll use what you learn after the course, with us and in your own group;
- your nationality, the organisation or group you’re active in, and your role there;
- confirmation that you’re free 9–17 November and have a valid ID card or passport.
Write your name in the form exactly as it appears on your passport or ID card: the organisers book your flight with it. Aim for 200–350 words. Specific beats long.
📌 Important: submitting the form doesn’t confirm your place. You’re in once EVEC Athens has selected you and the organisers have confirmed you. The person we select then fills in the organisers’ participant form, and TÜGVA contacts them directly about the flight and the participants’ WhatsApp group.
👉 More into writing Erasmus+ projects than posting about them? We’re also sending one person to PROJECT CRAFT in Braga, Portugal (22–30 November), and the organisers buy that flight too. You can apply for both: send the form once for each course, with the right keyword.
Questions? Write to erasmus@evec.org.gr. We reply within 2 working days.
